Delord Armagnac 1977

Nose: Rich and concentrated with dried and stewed fruit sweetness balancing pleasantly musky rancio and white pepper. Palate: Thick dried fruit, plum and peach notes shine, and yet more chewy rancio goodness. Finish: Long and syrupy, still so concentrated, fresh blackcurrant and a herbaceous edge.

From Delord's extensive warehouse of vintage Armagnac comes another impressive expression - a 1977 vintage Armagnac, distilled the same year that Rumours by Fleetwood Mac and Marquee Moon by Television were released. A great year, obviously.
