Representing an average age of 25 years, the vines are planted in a sandy and stony soil with plenty of flintstone. The composition and the aerated structure of these soils provide top quality grapes that produce in turn refined and light wines. They also reflect sunlight on the bunches thereby favoring their development After direct pressing, the fermentation is carried out at a low temperature in thermoregulated vats. Well mastered temperatures favor the development of the Sauvignon's delicate aromas. The presence of sulphites is reduced by the use of neutral gas which limits the risk of oxidation and conserves the harvest's freshness and fruity aromas. Maturing period : 4 months

This pretigious wine pays homage to the cart called “Chârte" in the regional dialect that Donatien Bahuaud used to deliver his wines. At once emotional and historic, this vehicule was built by one of his loved ones. Careful maturing has enhanced this Touraine, which reveals a rich palate with nice aromas
