Latte Di Suocera

It is a centerbe liqueur obtained by infusion of aromatic plants and berries. It is dry with a very high alcohol content, equal to 75% vol. It is used in the preparation of flambé cocktails, as it is easily flammable. The particular name refers to the sense of burning that is felt in the throat during the tasting phase and by analogy refers to the stereotype of the sour and unbearable mother-in-law. Its aromatic charge is typical and inimitable. It is obtained from the infusion of berries roots and plants that are processed using the cold extraction technique and mixing with alcohol. It undergoes an aging period of 3 months in large steel barrels. It has a straw color and a strong taste with a persistent aftertaste. The label, with the white skull on a black background, along with the word ‘suocera’ has always been striking and striking. Zanin Distillery has always produced this liqueur, but over the years it has been bottled with different brands. Therefore among the collections we can find mignon of Latte di Suocera by G.B. Gancetti or San Faustino or with the inscription "bottled in the Zugliano plant for Drink Italia". Currently, however, Zanin Distillery offers it directly with its own brand through its "Amarcord" line. A dry liqueur with herbs of high alcohol content, equal to 75% vol, the consumption of which seems to be historically associated with Malay piracy, to which the origin of the recipe is also attributed. It is used in the preparation of flambé cocktails, as the high concentration of alcohol makes it easily flammable; after the Imperial Drop and the Rum 80° it is the drink with the highest alcohol content on the market. Characteristic is the white skull label on a black background that distinguishes the drink.
