Hyde Single Malt 1893 Sherry Cask Matured Whiskey

Flavour: At first sweet opulent sherry notes, cooked fruits, grapes, oranges. It develops a seasoning with flavours of burned almonds and roasted coffee in the background. Taste: Tasty nutty, Brazil nut, almonds, chilli chocolate and spices. Finish: In turn fruity and creamy with wild honey, fig and stewed fruit rounded off with a piquant note of pink pepper.

One was concerned about an excellent wood management at Hyde as usual. Hand-graded barrels of a Bodega in Jerez were used. The sherry barrel influence is correspondingly luxuriant.
