Sister’s Run Epiphany Shiraz is fresh, young and vibrant in colour with that faint haze from having been unfiltered: all the good things get to stay in. The nose is a useful combination of deft oaks spice and caramel with McLaren Vale’s indubitable white chocolate Shiraz aromatics.This harmony continues at the front palate with winsome and plush Shiraz flavours of plum and earth, spice and ripe blackberries. Oak tannins provide structure and ribbing for the ever-giving fruit before a finish that comes with high-note of acid and a dry tannic aftertaste. Perfect with barbecued meats.
