This most famous plum brandy in Bulgaria is made from local plums around the town of Troyan in the Balkan Mountains. It is aged in small oak barrels for at least 7 years. Each wooden decanter is handmade by a master carpenter in one of the many wooden workshops in Troyan. Thus, each decanter is unique. Furthermore, only old plum wood from Troyan and the surrounding area is used. Each decanter contains high quality 7-year-old plum rakia, which will delight even the most demanding connoisseurs of plum brandy. This old plum brandy matures in oak barrels for at least seven years.
