Red semi-dry wine "Piantaferro" Primitivo is made ​​from 85% Primitivo grapes, while the remaining 15% of the blend fall on the red varieties of grapes grown in Apulia and surrounding regions. The harvest is picked by hand, berry gently pressed. Vinification takes place according to the classical method, a forced stop alcoholic fermentation, when sugar level reaches the required level.
