Chateau Du Tertre Margaux 2018

Château du Terte reigns over a beautiful 45-hectare vineyard located in the Margaux appellation, of which 41 are used for production. The sandy-clay gravel soils of this exceptional terroir prevent excessive water stress during hot and dry months by ensuring a constant availability of water. Manual and optical sorting. Wood, concrete and stainless steel tanks. Maceration for 21 days at 24°C. Ageing lasts for 12 months in French oak barrels (of which 40% are new wood).

Château du Tertre is a Margaux Grand Cru located on the left bank of Bordeaux. Since its acquisition in late 1997 by Eric Albada Jelgersma, considerable investments have been made in order to bring out the best of this exceptional terroir with wines of very rare consistency.
