TWR Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Te Whare Ra is a small vineyard and winery located in the Marlborough sub-region, in the town of Renwick. The name of the winery in translation from the Maori language means \"house in the sun.\" The winery is owned by winemakers Anna and Jason Flowerday. The 11-hectare vineyard is one of the oldest in Marlborough and is certified organic. The first vines were planted in the vineyard in 1979. Yields are kept low, the vineyard is managed organically and biodynamically, and harvested by hand and manually sorted. The wines are produced with minimal intervention in a small winery, specially created for the production of small batches of wine. The portfolio of \"TWR\" includes single-varietal wines from Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, as well as rosé and an aromatic blend called \"Toru\".
