Champagne Laherte Freres Petit Meslier

It is an absolute curiosity to find a pure champagne made from one of these super rare varieties. Petit Meslier is one of the four ancient and almost forgotten grape varieties and one of the seven permitted in Champagne. The Laherte family decided to replant Petit Meslier because of its strong personality and to preserve this grape variety of champagne. From the crossing of Gouais Blanc and Savagnin, it offers rare and intense taste experiences. The plot is located in their home village of Chavot, in the middle of the hills, with clay soils up to 1.5 meters, then soft chalk.
