Nose Fresh and elegant, the nose combines fruity fragrances with floral notes. Palate Intense and fresh on the palate. With a hint of bitterness, it is distinguished by notes of mandarin and camomile.

Hand-picked in small crates, followed by pressing. Fermentation in French oak barrels (50% new wood) after cold static settling. The wine is aged for 12 months on the lees with stirring in barrels (50% new and 50% from one wine) made in the estate's cooperage.

Located in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation and dating back to 1365, Château Smith Haut Lafitte is one of the oldest châteaux in Bordeaux.
