The wine is of a beautiful garnet colour, adorned with purple highlights.
Nose
The nose releases intense fruity (blackcurrant), floral (violet) and flint and cigar box fragrances.

A supple and velvety attack gives way to a palate with fine and silky tannins which dlights with its lovely richness and ideal balance between freshness, minerality and elegant notes of black fruit.
Story
In 2008, the Cuvelier family, already owners of Clos Fourtet, a Saint-Émilion Premier Grand Cru Classé, acquired Château Poujeaux. Since then, the beautiful Médoc property has undergone a real renaissance. Managed by Mathieu Cuvelier and Christophe Labenne, with vinification carried out under the guidance of oenologist-consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt, Château Poujeaux is one of the finest references in the Moulis appellation, on Bordeaux’s Left Bank.
