Its grapes, grown on old vines in Aÿ, Ecueil and Romery and aged in oak foudres for two years, create a champagne which is full and powerful on the palate, offering up notes of vanilla and caramel. This vintage cuvée of advanced maturity is a pleasant surprise with blue cheese or Parmesan. Only 4837 bottles of this vintage champagne have been produced and aged on the lees for 5 years before disgorgement. Each individually-numbered bottle comes with a muselet (cork cage) made of hemp twine.
