Chateau Chasse-Spleen Rouge 2022

Colour The wine is shining with a wonderful depth. Nose A delicious first nose, with cherry, chocolate and red rose fragrances, precedes a bouquet which, when swirled in the glass, mixes aromatic richness with refreshing notes of verbena. Palate A frank attack gives way to an ample, supple palate, with fine, chalky tannins drawing out to a persistent, fruity finish.

Located in the Moulis appellation, in the heart of the Médoc, Château Chasse-Spleen was founded in 1720. Its name, Chasse-Spleen, acquired in 1863, comes from the Anglo-Saxon trend and is inspired by Baudelaire. The estate has been run since 2000 by Céline Villars.
