Madam Veuve Point Bourgogne Hautes Cotes De Nuits 2015

A pale gold appearance with green highlights. To the nose, the floral notes mix with fresh fruits that complete a touch of toast and hazelnut. In the mouth, one finds fullness and roundness. This Hautes-Côtes de Nuits is a gourmet wine.

This vineyard is located between 300 and 400 meters of altitude. The vineyard occupies the sides of the valleys, cutting into the Jurassic limestone plateaus, to the west of “la côte”. The substrate is identical to that of the côte, but the superficial formations are very small, almost nonexistent. The clay-limestone soils are the result of the alteration of the limestone and the marls of the substrate.
